This song marks a milestone in Tommy Spase & The Alchemists history.   Over the years, we have had a good number of musicians come and go as band members, and during that time, occasionally one of them would want to collaborate on a song.  This hadn't ever really yielded good fruit until "First You Are a Spark".  One day Stevie Garcia sent me an acoustic piece that had spontaneously manifest through him.  I immediately heard the song in it and here it is on the album.  the first single and video, no less! Stevie left the band to pursue other musical callings just after we did the first session of basic tracks.  So he didn't end up on the album, but his acoustic guitar did in the form of this song.  You can see Stevie in the previous studio clip for "Magical Man", asking how crazy we want to get with it.  Fun!
