This phrase is said to be one of the many names of God. It is also known as a personal affirmation and decree. Some say that it can help you co-create your life circumstances through the power of the spoken word. " I am happy...I am healthy" ect. I have been studying the subject of personal power for most of my adult life....mostly out of necessity.
There are so many teachings out there about the power of the mind and of positive thinking to create the life that you desire. This has been an eternal quest for understanding for me. Can you relate? We all strive for a life of fulfillment and of purpose and of satisfaction, but oh, how life can be so far from that at times. How much of it do we have control over? How much is meant to be? What about destiny? If you have been following my music for any length of time, you know that this has been a subject that comes up often. In this song, I celebrate the claiming of our power as a spark of the Divine...the infinite and all of the power that exists if only we fully believe in ourselves as such. It's magical! It's metaphysical! It's supernatural!
Claim it!
"I AM THAT I AM"
In the Bible, it says that Yahweh (Jehovah) gave Moses a fuller revelation of His personal name in the form of a cryptic Hebrew phrase ’eheyeh ’asher ’eheyeh. One of the most likely translations is “I Am who I Am.” or "I am that I am". The Greek translators of the Old Testament wrote “egō eimi ho ōn.”
Aho!
