Day 6 - "King for a Day"

"Gain the world and lose your soul" as the saying goes, sums it up rather well as the deeper message of this song. We covered this a little in the pre-launch and I received many great and insightful responses. Do you believe money can buy you happiness? How many times have we heard the tale of a person gaining vast riches only to end up losing it all again in the end. Or someone who has so much money that they value nothing. I personally don't believe money is a bad thing, it's just a form of energy, but for some, it's everything. What do you think about it? Some of us find value in the littlest things. Sometimes the most valuable item that you have is practically worthless monetarily. I have a little book of affirmations that isn't worth more that $2.50, but to me it's one of my most valuable and cherished possessions. Did you sell your soul, to purchase your glory? Do you think that was the price that you have to pay? Oh, Jack of Diamonds, it's a game that you play. I could not find it anywhere, the meaning of life, though I searched from sea to shining sea. How I squandered my kingdom, over and over, Until I was left with just the breath in my lungs, and the blood in my veins. I was someone once! I was King for a Day.
